Ohio AAA Blues Player Commits to St. Thomas
T1EHL congratulates former Ohio AAA Blue Jackets player, Cole Miller, on his commitment to play Division I hockey at the University of St. Thomas.
A powerful skater and reliable all-around defenseman, Miller played three seasons as a AAA Blue Jacket from 2018-2021. Last season, he tallied 8 goals and 34 points and captained the 18U team to a Mid-Am district championship and quarterfinal berth at the Tier I National Championships.
His leadership and on-ice performance earned him a tender with the NAHL’s Chippewa Steel and helped him get drafted by the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL’s 2021 Phase II Draft. In 2021-22, Miller has successfully made the jump to the USHL where he has tallied one goal and 8 assists in 29 games played with Sioux Falls.
A member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, the University of St. Thomas is based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. The storied program is one of the oldest in college hockey and is currently in its first season as a Division I hockey program after elevating itself from the D-III level.
T1EHL is proud of all of its players who continue to advance in the ranks of hockey. Where can you go from here? Everywhere.
