Des Moines Buccaneers Player Called Up to NAHL
T1EHL congratulates Des Moines Buccaneers 18U Goal Tender Lukas Malant on being called up to the Corpus Christi IceRays.
Malant played his first game for the IceRays on November 11th. Since then he’s played 16 games amassing a 3.68 GAA and a .908 Save Percentage. He left the U18 Bucs with a 7-4 record, a 2.23 GAA, and a .927 Save Percentage.
“Lukas was ready for junior hockey when he got to Des Moines. Everyday he treated this like a true pro and his call up was more than deserving. We are in this business for the kids and in season advancements are part of the process and we couldn’t be happier for him,” said Coach Nick Sova.
