Philadelphia Jr Flyers Shut Out Victory Honda to Win Slavin 11U Division Championship

The Philadelphia Jr Flyers claimed the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League 11U Slavin Division Championship with a 4-0 win over Victory Honda on December 15 at Belle Tire Arena. The Jr Flyers showcased a balanced offensive attack and airtight defense to secure the title.

After a scoreless first period, the Jr Flyers opened the scoring in the second when Carter Stanley (#78) netted a goal, assisted by Koleman Smith (#17) and Zachary Schmerling (#66). Reid Kline (#88) doubled the lead minutes later with an unassisted tally.

The Flyers continued their momentum into the third period. Samuel Trieskey (#86) extended the lead with a goal assisted by Connor Graf (#10), and Henry Wurster (#19) sealed the victory with a late goal, set up by Kline and Graf.

Goaltender Peyton Brosius (#29) was flawless in net, stopping all 25 shots from Victory Honda, while the Jr Flyers’ defense neutralized their opponent’s scoring threats. Victory Honda’s Hunter Mazur (#31) made several impressive saves despite facing the tough Jr. Flyers offense.

The Jr Flyers’ relentless play on both ends of the ice led to an emphatic championship win, capping off an impressive season and an exciting conclusion to the Slavin Division.
