BLAINE, MN – Fox Motors delivered a commanding 5-1 victory over the Buffalo Jr Sabres in the 14U Semi-Final on February 16 at NSC Rink 4, securing their spot in the 14U Championship Final against Dallas Stars Elite. A dominant second and third-period performance propelled Fox Motors past Buffalo, as they now prepare to battle for the title.
First Period – Defensive Battle
The game opened with a strong defensive effort from both teams, as neither could break through in the first frame. Fox Motors and Buffalo each generated 10 shots on goal, but goaltenders Mason Martin (#72) for Fox and Connor Reed (#35) for Buffalo turned away every attempt, sending the game into the second period scoreless.
Second Period – Fox Motors Seizes Momentum
