DETROIT, MI – Fox Motors captured the 2026 Blaine 15O Championship with a strong 5-2 victory over the St. Louis AAA Blues at NSC Super Rink Rink #5 on February 16 . In a game that followed a clear rhythm—Fox striking early and often while St. Louis fought to stay within reach—Fox controlled the critical moments to secure the title.
Fox opened the scoring at 11:25 remaining in the first period when Ryan Teuscher (#2) buried the first goal of the game off an assist from Kai Molyneux (#48). They extended the lead at 7:33 remaining, as Jake Antaya (#29) converted on a setup from Braxyn Penny (#92) to make it 2-0.
St. Louis responded at 4:22 remaining in the first, when Broderick Gilbert (#96) finished a play assisted by Luke Grupe (#13) and Charlie Harrison (#4) to cut the deficit to 2-1. But Fox answered before the period closed. With 1:08 remaining in the first, Teuscher (#2) struck again, this time assisted by Molyneux (#48) and Dylan Lieckfield (#7), restoring a two-goal cushion at 3-1.
St. Louis kept pushing in the second and capitalized just 10 seconds into the period. At 16:50 remaining, Wyatt Gula (#22) scored off an assist from Beckham Billmeyer (#89) to bring the Blues back within one. In the third period, Fox created separation. At 9:03 remaining, Kai Molyneux (#48) added an insurance goal, assisted by Jack Langan (#20), pushing the lead to 4-2. St. Louis called a timeout with 2:25 remaining in the third in an effort to mount a late surge, but Fox sealed it moments later. With just 0:23 remaining, Parker Deraney (#4) found the empty net to finalize the 5-2 championship victory.
Fox goaltender Mason Martin (#72) turned aside 23 of 25 shots, while St. Louis’ Colby Arnold faced 16 shots in the loss.
