Former Jr. Ducks Player Commits to Ferris State
T1EHL congratulates former Jr. Ducks player, Emerson Goode, on his commitment to Ferris State.
Goode, currently playing junior hockey for Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL this season, is now the 34th Anaheim Jr. Ducks alumni to make an NCAA Division I commit in the past seven seasons. The 2002 birth year played AAA hockey for the Jr. Ducks for his 14U through 18U seasons.
His high-water mark with the club came during an 18U season in 2019-20, when he had 25 goals and 12 assists in 68 games. This season, he has 27 points, including 11 goals, through 39 games for Odessa.
“Emerson is a highly skilled offensive forward,” 18U AAA coach August Aiken said. “He’s a late bloomer who grew into his body at an older age. He was 5-foot-8 when he played for me, and now he’s 6-foot-1. That’s a massive growth spurt.”
Goode, however, maintained an impressive skill set.
“He has great speed and good offensive skill,” Aiken added. “It’s not surprising to see the success he’s had.”
T1EHL is proud of all of its players who continue to advance in the ranks of hockey. Where can you go from here? Everywhere.
