Fox Motors Triumph Over North Jersey Avalanche in Jones Division Championship

The Fox Motors claimed the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League 12U Jones Division Championship with a 3-1 victory over the North Jersey Avalanche on December 9 at Belle Tire Arena. A strong third-period performance propelled Fox Motors to the title in a tightly contested matchup.

The Avalanche struck first, with Gianmarco Pecchia (#10) scoring early in the first period off an assist from Garrett Fleming (#2). Despite several opportunities for both teams, Fox Motors equalized late in the first period when Vincenzo Pulera (#12) found the back of the net, assisted by Henry Chisolm (#19).

The game remained tied through a tense second period, with both teams trading scoring chances. Fox Motors broke the deadlock early in the third period, as Mason Micketti (#48) scored with an assist from Harrison Kosecki (#21). Kosecki then secured the victory with a goal of his own in the final minute, assisted by Ivan Pyne (#22), sealing the 3-1 win.

Fox Motors goaltender Miles Brandstatter (#31) was stellar in net, making 16 saves and holding firm under Avalanche pressure. Meanwhile, Eli Kleinstein (#30) kept the Avalanche in the game with several key stops, facing 10 shots in a defensive battle.
