15O Champions – St. Louis AAA Blues

What a weekend for the Tier 1 Elite League 15O Division Champions, the St. Louis AAA Blues!! Congratulations to the players and coaches who showed determination and perseverance throughout the weekend. In the final showdown between the Blues and the Phoenix Jr Coyotes, the Blues’s Anthony Thomas-Maroon cut the tension in the first with their first tally. Blues Cam Wilson extended the lead with the first of his two goals shortly after, giving the Blues a 2 goal lead going into the second.
The Yotes popped their first and only tally of the contest with a quick shot from Akul Kuppannagari. Cam Wilson of the Blues answered the call again in the 3rd to give a 2 goal cushion. The Yotes pulled the goalie to try and even the score, but the Blues Theo Valentine finished up with an open net goal, making the final score 4-1 in favor of the 15O Champions, the St. Louis AAA Blues!!
Congratulations to both teams on an excellent season, and a fantastic conclusion to a hard-played weekend!
