Fox Motors Take the 11U Connor Division Title

DETROIT, MI – The Fox Motors 11U team delivered a poised and complete performance to win the 2025 Tier 1 Elite League 11U Connor Division Championship, defeating the Indiana Elite 3-0 on December 14 at Belle Tire. With one goal in each period and a lockdown defensive effort, Fox earned the Championship Title with structure, skill, and shutout goaltending.

Fox struck first midway through the opening period. At 10:37 remaining, Spencer Emms (#2) capitalized on a scoring chance and found the back of the net, giving Fox a 1-0 lead and early momentum.

In the second, Fox continued to apply pressure, and it paid off at 3:08 remaining when Michael Lowery (#8) buried the second goal of the game off a setup from Austin Krochalk (#88) to double the lead.

The third period saw more of the same: consistent puck possession and solid team defense. At 5:07 remaining, Reid Zavasky (#10) put the finishing touch on the championship performance, scoring with help from Benson Beuchler (#11) to make it 3-0 and seal the victory.

Goaltender Lucas Dykema (#29) turned aside all 40 shots he faced, earning a well-deserved shutout and anchoring Fox’s defensive effort. Indiana Elite fired everything they had on net, including 19 shots in the second period alone, but couldn’t solve Dykema’s wall in the crease.

The win caps off a strong playoff run for Fox Motors, whose balance across all three zones and ability to finish in critical moments earned them the 2025 Connor Division Championship.
